Arms of Hope

Arms of Hope is a not-for-profit Christian care organization that assists children and single-mother families in need, including a Family Outreach Program in Houston.  Arms of Hope is one of our two Ministry Partners to whom we donate a portion of our weekly contribution and with whom we actively participate in their leadership and volunteer efforts.

Free the Captives

Free the Captives is a Houston-based Christian organization that works with teenage survivors of sex trafficking.  Support this movement by participating in their annual Super Heroes 5K in the spring.

friendspeak

FriendSpeak is a ministry designed to help our international neighbors improve their English in a personal, one-on-one study of the New Testament as the topic of conversation.  After completing the program training, volunteers spend one hour a week conversing at our location at 1548 Heights Blvd.  The next training session will be fall of 2017.

Heights Interfaith ministry food pantry

As a local branch of the Houston Food Pantry, Heights Interfaith Ministries strives to provide food for struggling families.  H.I. M. Food Pantry is one of our two Ministry Partners to whom we donate a portion of our weekly contribution and with whom we actively participate in their leadership and volunteer efforts
